YOUNG COUPLES APOSTOLATE
The definition in the dictionary for the word home is “a living place of the family”. But God’s standard for the ideal home far exceeds such narrow boundaries. It is made up of people who care about God and about one another, people who pray and work towards making the home conform to God’s pattern.
God knows man’s need for companionship. Companionship was one of the main purposes of the family. God looked at Adam and saw that it wasn’t good for him to be alone, so He created Eve as an equal companion for him.
Keeping in mind the Young Couples, and for assisting them in leading a pleasant and fruitful Christian life, Diocese of Mandya formed an Association, which is in existence since 2021.
The objective of the Association is to help, guide, and lead Young Couples in respect of building an ideal Christian home so that they would grow in harmony respecting each other, praying together, being kind and compassionate to each other and to other fellow beings around them and preparing themselves to enter into a good parenthood based on Christian Values. This being a unique initiative to nurture and shape our young couples, the entire parish and also the Diocese have received it wholeheartedly and offered support and cooperation at all levels as required. Hope to see the association flourish and impart benefits to many of our youngsters in the years to come.
