MATHRUVEDI
Mathruvedi is an Association for ‘Mothers’ in our parish. The mission of the association is to ensure families uphold and exhibit the Christian way of life; giving importance to prayers, helping the needy, caring, empowering Mothers, and actively contributing and participating in all activities of the Church.
The main services the association does in the parish are altar decoration, cleaning the church, spiritual activities like recitation of the holy rosary, bible reading, and intercessory prayers. The members also visit orphanages, Homes for the Elderly, sickly brethren, HIV patients, pregnant women, elderly parents, and homes of the souls called to eternal life for extending all possible assistance.
Mathruvedi also extends a helping hand to needy children for payment of school fees, helping the widows, supporting the sick with medical expenses, helping poor families, building new houses for the deprived, etc.
